E-CC and TheCyclePeople.com celebrated 12 months of successful partnership with news that visitor numbers to the cycling website are growing at over 40% per month.  TheCyclePeople.com simplifies a very fragmented market place to make locating, comparing and reviewing products and services very easy for cyclists of all abilities and backgrounds.  Over 5,000 road bikes, mountain bikes, cycling holidays and bicycle clubs are now featured on the site, and this number is growing daily. 

One of the main attractions of the web site is its simplicity of use.  To accomplish this, much of the hard work is done behind the scenes using a bespoke database & software built by E-CC for TheCyclePeople.com.

Ease of use

Priority towards ease of use has led to a navigation method where the user can drill down through the mass of available data to build up a Search Query by selecting a series of choices each based upon the previous selection. This is cleverly constructed to ensure that the user is never frustrated by the dreaded message "sorry no results for that search please broaden your search parameters"

User feedback has continued to be excellent.

Cranking up the visitor numbers

However, a great web site is of no use unless you have people visiting it.  TheCyclePeople.com realised this early on and have worked closely with E-CC on Search Engine Optimisation.  The result is that over 75% of visitors now come from Google's organic search results which is a substantial achievement.
